After several years of involvement in various video and media art projects—many of which are showcased in my online portfolio—I am now exploring a path as an acoustic ecologist and spatial audio composer. I will update my portfolio accordingly in the near future.

Carla Zamora (she/her), born in Vorarlberg/Austria, is based in the Austrian city Linz since 2017. After finishing her studies in Media Design (BA) and Timebased Media (MA), she first worked in film production and in the advertising field. After that period, Carla started at Ars Electronica as project manager and was responsible for various projects, such as international workshops and exhibitions during the festival and abroad. While pursuing her second Master degree Interface Cultures at the University of Arts Linz from 2019, she worked as researcher and editor for the “Archive of Digital Art” at the Center for Image Science, University for Continuing Education Krems, where she investigates deeper studies on Media Art history and archiving within a funded research project.
Since 2023 Carla is team member of OTTOsonics, open plattform for immersive sound, based in Ottensheim, Upperaustria.
